The Hartland Public Library offers six computers for patron use, with Internet access, word processing, PowerPoint and Excel. Patrons may access a computer for two hours each day with a library card. You may extend your session if no one is waiting. No reservations for computers are accepted, access is first come first served. A printer is available at a cost of $.15 per page.
Children under 18 may also use our computers with parental permission. When you help your child obtain a library card you may also sign an Internet permission form if you wish. Children will need to be signed on to the computers by our reference librarian.
Wireless access is available throughout the library during open hours. There is no password required. Wireless printing is also available. Before accessing the internet, please check out the library's Internet Policy (PDF).
A copy machine for patrons is available next to the circulation desk. The cost is $.15 per copy; color copies are $.50 per page. Scanning is also available with the help of a reference librarian. We do not offer faxing services at this time. Fax service is available at several local businesses.
Access to the Lake Country Reporter on microfilm is available in the Hartland History room, located in the library mezzanine. Please ask a staff member for help with the microfilm machine.
The library has a portable projector and a screen for use in the Program Room.
