FEASIBILITY STUDY - COMMUNITY CENTER - The Village of Hartland will be conducting a feasibility study to determine if there is a need and support for the construction of a community center. This resident-driven approach will take place over the the next 8-12 months. Public meetings, a statistically valid survey and market research data will be used to define what our community's recreation/community center needs will be.
During April, some residents will be receiving a survey. Households that receive the survey are encouraged to complete it and return it for future planning assessment. If you do not receive a copy of the survey, you can receive a copy at the Municipal Building, Recreation Department. This additional survey data will not be contained in the final report, but will be used for informational purposes.

APRIL DECLARED AS "FAIR HOUSING" MONTH IN THE VILLAGE OF HARTLAND - Click here to see Proclamation. The Village Board also adopted this statement. "The Fair Housing Act of 1968 makes fair housing a national policy. It prohibits discrimination in the sale, lease or rental of housing, or making housing otherwise unavailable because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin.
Federal and state fair housing laws were put into effect to create an even playing field for homebuyers in all areas of a real estate transaction. These laws prohibit discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, and national origin.
As a recipient of Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds as administered by Waukesha County, the Village of Hartland promotes the awareness of Fair Housing laws and policies in the Village of Hartland and in Waukesha County.
