Important Information

ELECTION INFORMATION September 14 is the date for the Partisan Primary. Voters in Wards 1-7 will vote in the Community Center. Voters in Wards 8-13 will vote at St. Charles Church at 313 Circle Drive. Polls open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Absentee ballots may be obtained in the Clerk's Office and will be available after August 16. STH 16 CONSTRUCTION - A portion of STH 16 from CTH KE to Capitol Drive in Pewaukee will be under construction during the month of September and October. This is a WIS DOT Project. Meetings with representatives of Payne and Dolan and DOT officials will be held at the Village of Hartland Municipal Bldg. Board Room, 210 Cottonwood Ave. on the following dates and times:
Sept. 15 - 8:00 a.m.
Sept. 27 - 8:00 a.m.
Oct. 13 - 8:00 a.m.
Oct. 27 - 8:00 a.m.

"SHOW" Survey of the health of Wisconsin will be coming to Hartland in the near future This research study collects information that monitors the health of our neighborhoods, communities and families. We work to bring better health to the people of Wisconsin. Hartland has been chosen to participate in this study being conducted by the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. RECYCLING NEWS Waukesha County's recycling program will begin accepting paper beverage cartons for recycling this fall. The milk, soup, juice, and wine cartons must be empty and placed in the blue recycling bins along with bottles and cans. Further notice regarding this change will be delivered to residents via the County website, press releases, and newspaper ads. Village residents can add these items to the blue recycling bins beginning on August 30th.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE SPECIAL ONE-DAY COLLECTION SITE Special one-day collection of household hazardous materials will be held at the City of Oconomowoc Public Works Garage, 630 S. Worthington St. on September 11th from 8 a.m. - Noon. Proof of County residency is required. For more specific information: www.waukeshacounty.gov/recycling or call 262-896-8300
