*The yard waste site is open to Village residents only. It is operated/maintained by the Public Works Department. For contacts see Village Government Public Works.*

Yard Waste and Recycling Hours Starting Second Saturday in April through the day after Thanksgiving:

2nd and 4th Tuesdays 6 pm - 8 pm
2nd and 4th Saturdays 9 am - 1 pm

The dates will always be included in the calendar
located on the back page of the Village Newsletter.

Veolia Environmental Services has asked that the Village remind the customers that recyclables
need to be handled in the following manner:

RESIDENTIAL COLLECTION REGULATIONS - VILLAGE OF HARTLAND (PDF)

Village Ordinance No. 473 states "Refuse containers shall be placed at the point of collection by the owner or tenant of the premise not more than 24 hours preceding the normal collection day, and shall be removed there from, in the case of curbside collection, not more than 12 hours after collection."
