The usual loan period for Hartland Public Library materials is three weeks (21 days).
Exceptions to the usual loan periods are as follows:
The loan period for periodicals is one week (7 days).
The loan period for DVDs is one week (7 days).
The loan period for compact discs is one week (7 days).
In some instances certain books or materials may be marked "overnight loan only", "no renewal", "seven days", or some similar designation. This designation will take precedence over the item's regular loan period.
Renewals and Reserves
Renewals are allowed for all materials except new books and items with active holds.
Renewals will be allowed in person, by telephone or through the Online Patron Access Catalog.
Reserves (holds) may be placed on all circulating materials in person, over the telephone or through the Online Patron Access Catalog.
